Founders Day Celebrations

Today all schools within the Griffin Schools Trust celebrated Founders Day. The day was marked by a series of engaging activities that brought the whole community together to celebrate our shared founding vision of Proud Traditions, Wide Horizons and High Achievement:

  • The festivities commenced with a special assembly, where pupils and staff gathered to reflect on our shared values of wisdom, courage and leadership. The Head Boy and Girl gave an address on what it means to be a Griffin.
  • A key feature of Founders Day is a shared meal, fostering a sense of camaraderie among the school community. This year we shared breakfast.
  • True to the spirit of giving back, students engaged in various community service initiatives and fundraising activities, for example we held a cake sale, donated non-perishables to Medway Food Bank and completed litter-picking around the local community.
  • Adding an extra dimension to this year’s celebration, the theme of ‘Energy’ was woven into various activities. Families were invited in to join arts and crafts sessions with their children throughout the day.
