Pumpkin Carve Day

Halloween came early to Kingfisher Primary School.  On Tuesday 20th of October the Foundation stage held their annual pumpkin carve. Parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles and friends joined the children to take part in lots of Pumpkin themed activities.
Adults got competitive carving pumpkins whilst the children enjoyed making pumpkin biscuits and stained glass pumpkins. But the star of the show had to be the pumpkin soup…….the best we’ve ever tasted!
The Halloween celebrations continued onto Thursday 22nd October, where the PTA organised a disco for all pupils, where they came dressed in all sorts of scary creatures.
Over 40 adults attended the annual event and plan to come to others throughout the year.
