Calling all Year 6 scientists!!

Every year we celebrate the Griffin Science Symposium (GSS) as one of our proud traditions. GSS is exclusive to Year 6 and Year 7 students across the trust and this year our theme is: Reimagining community. Your challenge over half term is to produce a sculpture, presentation or project about how Covid-19 has positively impacted on our environment, community and climate change! Six winners will be chosen from Kingfisher and you will become science ambassadors during science week and you will have an opportunity to teach the rest of the school over zoom! Everyone in year 6 will have the exciting opportunity to take part in a zoom science lesson where we will build rollers with scientists from sphere science! ‌ I have also included a link to Dr Anne Edwards speech from last year’s GSS. We all have the opportunity to ask her questions which she will answer during a live Q&A. Please send your questions to Ms Lawrence on Edmodo by the end of this week! ‌
